I'm sorry you are having to deal with this nonsense Chichimama (Around here I'd get slapped for calling a women that) anyway the Watchtower turn people into conniving idiots and the sad thing is they don't even understand how stupid they are behaving. To them somehow it is defending the truth or keeping the organization clean. All I can say is that you are not alone. Most of us here are dealing with the insanity that is the Watchtower.

what do you personally believe happens after we die?

i don't believe we really know everything about god or the afterlife.

i do believe that we do transform to something beyond our physical comprehension.

I wouldn't presume to tell you I know. To my knowledge I've never died before and no one I've ever known who has died has ever showed up again to fill me in. Personally I'm Christian with lot of eastern thought mixed in.

I heard this women, Dr Jill Bolte Taylor on PBS on day speaking about her book. I haven't got it yet but intend to read it. Her experience with having a stroke gave her a new persective on what life is about. This video by her is worth watching.

This is great news.

Everyone except for the very rich need insurance. Some people just don't realize it. If you go to an emergency room with a severe problem without insurance they don't just let you die. Everyone else picks up your tab. It's nothing more than making people responsible citzens instead of allowing them to be a burden on society.

the drama -- i basically laughed hysterically!

i guess marriages are breaking up left and right within the organization.

a couple got married young.

My JW nephew has been divorce twice already. We've had quite a few JW divorces in our family. They're just like everyone else but like to pretend that they aren't so that they judge others for the same behavior they exhibit.

The Watchtower wants dubs to stay married even in bad situations so the can sell the public on the idea that it is great to be a JW. They don't care how horrible it is on the inside as long as it looks good on the outside. The Kingdom Hall is nothing more than a "white washed tomb"

I guess I never was a very good JW because one of the first things I told my wife was that I would hate to be fighting and arguing all the time and if our marriage went in that direction I would be gone.

I need movie ideas (My wife is in Salt Lake attending the Sparlock Convention)

i have some wild and crazy things planned but i need help with my movie selection.

last night i watched "in darknes" a very good move.

I'll get the Lincoln Lawyer. I saw it at the video store last night. Is Insidious in the theaters or can you rent it? I plan on going to a movie at least once this week.
